A first here at 360gamr, a reader supplied setup. This sweet 360 room comes from Josh, a 16-year old from the United Kingdom.

Josh looks like he has an awesome setup and only 16 years old! Looks like a LCD of decent size, with a sizeable speaker setup and of course the 360. Thanks Josh, awesome!
Click pics for bigger size as always and as always, send us your setups if you want them posted!

A simple, but exquisite setup this week with a really nicely done silver Xbox 360. There’s also some nice AV equipment and what looks like a great HTPC. Enjoy!

There have been some rumours making the rounds in which it has been said that Microsoft is said to be dropping the price of the Premium bundle.
Basically, an anonymous Microsoft employee has indicated that the price of the Premium 360 will be dropped by $49 on the same day that GTAIV gets released. This would be a smart move for Microsoft as we know millions upon millions of people love the GTA series. Now if you are still a PS2 or Xbox owner sitting on the fence waiting for this game to be released, then it would be a good time to invest in a next gen system.

This weeks edition contains the much-loved Xbox 1, the slightly less handsome older brother of the 360. I personally have a Xbox 1 running the popular Xbox Media Center and it has served me well over the years, providing far more functionality than the media center capabilities of the 360 (it’s on the bottom right). Enjoy!

Don’t we just love Sony for their fantastic, premium line of TV’s. Well so does this week’s owner of a lovely Sony TV, together with out much-loved gaming console. I especially like the entertainment cabinet. Top marks!

Microsoft has posted the most played 360 games of 2007. Although this can’t be 100% accurate as not all gamers connect to Xbox Live, it does provide a good indication of the most popular games for the 360. The list is as follows:
1) Halo 3
2) Gears of War
3) Call of Duty 4
4) Rainbow Six Vegas
5) Call of Duty 3
6) Crackdown
7) Oblivion
Guitar Hero II
9) Forza 2
10) Lost Planet
Seems a pretty good indication to me.
Also included are the top-Selling Xbox Live Arcade titles:
1) TMNT
2) Worms
3) Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night
4) UNO
5) Bomberman LIVE
6) 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures
7) Sonic The Hedgehog
Pinball FX
9) Geometry Wars
10) Texas Hold ‘em

This weeks setup is a combo setup, containing both a PC and 360 in the same area, including the “other” console.

It’s certainly an interesting setup and should provide the owner with plenty of entertainment!

Since there are a number of sites reporting on the December 2007 update with their impressions, I thought I’d do a round-up and summary.
Gizmodo says most video files play, dosen’t like the video streching functionality, however they are very positive overall.
The official Xbox site covers a few of the highlights of the new update (worth a read if you don’t want to sift through the entire list of updates).
The Xbox Domain has a quick rundown of the update, they are concerned about the friends privacy functionality, but are overall impressed with the added features.
A very long thread (12 pages so far) discussing the update over at Xbox Scene.

Also from Xbox Scene, silver Live members now have to wait a week for certain content downloads, whereas gold Live members get access immediately. It’s weird how Microsoft never mentions these things. Lazygamer has a good synopsis of the changes, I think this change will alienate a large number of Silver Live users.
